Payment Method

PayPal - Check - Money Order - Cash

The most secure method of transacting a membership would be through PayPal.  It will also allow you to register without having to fill out a Registration Form and mailing it in to us.  We will not be taking cash through the United States Mail Service (or any other service).  If you mail us money, it will be returned to you (minus the cost of postage and handling).  We will only accept service checks and money orders through the U.S. Postal Service.

If you wish a Fannish Name on your badge, please print it clearly on the registration form and to ensure it can be read easily by anyone someone, if the name is spelled incorrectly, it will need to be corrected at the Registration Desk at the Convention.

Please allow enough time for checks and money orders to clear.  The cancel date on the envelope will be the date we will use to determine if the letter arrived before or after the next price increase. 

 

PayPal

PayPal is linked into our Shopping Cart (That is your starting point).  You will need to choose the type of membership you are looking for and fill out a form for registration.  The Registration Form will then be linked to the PayPal site to make your payment.  If the payment is successful, a confirmation email will be sent to you and to Registration.

You might wish to bring along the confirmation email as verification to the Registration Desk at the convention,  as it will speed along the process.  Bring your e-mail confirmation and/or your identification card (drivers license, student ID or State ID) for verification..

Registration will contact you to confirm that you have received the confirmation email.

PayPal payments are the most secure method of sending money for your membership.

 

Check

It will be necessary to fill out the PDF (click on the PDF to start the download of the form) for registration, print it out, and mail it to the address indicated on the Registration sheet.  Please remember to include your payment, which should be made out to 'MagicUsers, Inc.'.

Payments made by check will be sent to our post office in Texas for processing.  It will be necessary to process the payment before we can issue you a confirmation email that the check has cleared.  You will get an email confirmation that your letter has arrived and is being processed.  Once the check clears, you will get another email stating your confirmation number (one for each badge). 

You may wish to bring along the confirmation email as verification to the Registration Desk at the convention, it will speed along the process.  It is not necessary, but you will need to bring along an identification card (drivers license, student ID or State ID) to verify yourself.

 

Money Order

It will be necessary to fill out this PDF form for registration, print it out and mail it to the address indicated on the registration sheet.  Please remember to include your payment, which should be made out to 'MagicUsers, Inc.', if you have made it to 'SorcererCon', it will be okay, we can still use it.

Cash

The only time Registration will accept cash is at the Convention, during the event,  and at no other time. 

 

What do I get for my membership?

You will have access to our event, the panel rooms, the multi-media room, the food functions (each night), the dealers' room, the live demonstration area, and the art show, given access for one-on-one time with our Guest's, the costume show, and much more.

 

What age is considered a Child?

If a child is under the age of 13 years on the first day of the Convention (November 26, 2010), then they are considered a child.
